Anxiety disorder is when you feel unease about a particular change or situation for an extended period. It becomes worrisome and may eventually affect the individual’s mental health. According to the American Psychiatric Association, more women in society have an anxiety disorder than men.
There is nothing wrong with looking forward to a new job or home, but it should not overcrowd your emotions. Anxiety is what you may have felt during your daily activity but did not go beyond that. However, anxiety disorder is greatly disturbing and usually accompanied by fear. The affected individual will find it difficult to get things done, as there will be lesser actions but more deep thoughts.
An anxiety disorder may eventually lead to depression while you stop finding pressure in things you enjoy doing. You may eventually lose interest in simple habits like exercising or gym visits.
