The theme for this year’s World Mental Health Day is Mental Health In An Unequal World.
The World Federation For Mental Health report that in countries with lower economic stability, up to 90% of citizens on a low income do not have sufficient or regular access to mental healthcare services. And this isn’t just the case in countries with less money – people on a low income in countries with higher financial stability also have difficulty accessing mental healthcare.
On #WMHD – what can you do to get involved and spread awareness? There are some great activities where you can sit down with your friend, have a picnic or share a cup of tea, and encourage your friends to talk about their mental health.
