Bristol Office

Short-term and long-term support for people with mental health and multiple needs.

Our Focus

'What lives do people want to lead?'

This human-centric approach to our role of support and care enables people to lead equal and fulfilling lives. Our CPNs and multidisciplinary therapy teams' work is centred around what matters most to each person: their health and social goals, identity, and the life they envision for themselves.

Care Journeys

Every person carries a story that’s entirely their own, shaped by distinct experiences and needs. Yet, despite our differences, we all share a common longing, and that is to feel safe, valued, and free. Lisa spent 27 years in a hospital just because she needed more complex mental health support, and there was no one to listen, to understand, to provide that support. When our CPN and PBS specialists stepped in, after some time, Lisa started to feel that she could regain her own life, freedom and start living in her own home. And that’s exactly what happened!

‘It was difficult because she just wanted to stay in her bedroom. And then, over the weeks, that extended from the bedroom to other parts of the house, to the garden, and then it gradually went to being able to go out and have lunch.’

-Lesley Robins, Community Psychiatric Nurse, Nurseline Community Services
