Meet The Team

Michelle Whittaker

General Manager

michelle@chdhousing.uk

I started my career as a support worker at the age of 17. During my career I have strived to continually improve my knowledge and skills, completing a number of qualifications, to

improve the support delivered to the people we serve. At Nurseline Community Services, I am truly motivated and inspired every day by the passion and dedication demonstrated amongst my colleagues. Any challenge presented is met with enthusiasm and excitement to make the world a better place for every person involved.

The best advice I have ever received

Respect is how you treat everyone,
not just those you want to impress.

A surprising fact about me

I can be very competitive when challenged and have been known
to do some silly things in the spirit of competition!

I am very passionate about providing high-quality care and ensuring the staff is supported, as Nurseline Community Services is a supportive workplace recognised as UK’s Best Place to Work. I have 17 years of experience in social care, leading multiple outstanding services.
At the end of the workday, I am happy knowing that, as a team, we have made a big difference to individuals, families and the entire community, allowing them to feel the positive impact. I like working alongside other passionate people who strive towards the same goal of improving the lives of the individuals we support and empowering the people on the ground who are making the Impact.

I joined the company because family is one of the most important things in my life, and to be able to provide care for other families is the thing that motivates him the most and is his passion. I am excited to be part of the family here because of the values of this company and the reality that Nurseline Community Services tries to implement and live out the values of Family, Impact & Teaming on a real and personal level. We see ourselves as not just a team but a family.
We benefit from a level of challenge which is healthy. We regularly encourage ourselves to grow and improve, raising our standards continually but in a culture of support.
