How We Ensure Quality
Independent Quality Monitoring
Every six months, our services undergo a mock inspection based on Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. These reviews, conducted by our Quality Assurance Team, provide:
- Comprehensive reports.
- Actionable improvement plans.
- Feedback from people we support, their families, and our teams.

Digital-First Oversight
We use a centralised, real-time digital dashboard to monitor service quality indicators.
Our electronic care planning system ensures information is accurate, timely, and accessible, empowering our teams to deliver more responsive, personalised care.

Safeguarding and Risk Management
Our Safeguarding Lead works closely with local authorities, safeguarding boards, and integrated care boards (ICBs) to proactively manage risk and uphold best practices. We also conduct regular safeguarding audits and lessons-learned reviews to strengthen our systems.

Measuring Success
We measure quality not just through compliance, but through outcomes:
- Achievement of personal goals.
- Feedback from people and families.
- Reduction in restrictive practices.
- Continuous improvements identified and implemented.

Every service at NCS operates with a clear Vision, Targets, and Objectives (VTO) plan, reviewed quarterly, ensuring that improvement is ongoing and aligned with the aspirations of the people we support.
