Mental Health Is a Fundamental Human Right for All People
Mental health challenges should never be a reason to take away a person’s human rights or stop them from making decisions about their own health. Yet, many people experience coercive practices such as involuntary admission, treatment, seclusion, and restraint.
At Nurseline Community Services, our goal is to support people in overcoming mental health challenges and to create pathways toward renewed, fulfilling lives within the community.
Care that Makes a Real Impact
C is a lovely young girl who has faced significant challenges living with complex PTSD. After moving between foster families and experiencing a mental health crisis that led to hospital admission, she is now thriving.
With our support, C has rebuilt important relationships, returned to education, and enjoys activities like theme parks and bowling. She’s gaining independence through daily tasks and dreams of joining the army one day.
